Do not try to raise every stat evenly. Focus on getting key attributes (like Speed/Strength) to 30. Then, focus on getting them to 50, then 70. The goal is to reach 70-80 in your key areas before the retirement decline starts.
Select the opponents with the lowest ratings in the ranking list. It makes for easier wins, keeps your fighter fresh, and allows you to build your stats without the pressure of a hard fight.
