The Pale Reach , which launched in November 2023, represented a substantial addition to the world. It offered players in a frigid, treacherous environment, complete with 11 new fish and crab species to catalog and new equipment to craft. Players could outfit their ship with an ice breaker to smash through frozen obstacles and could even buy ice blocks to help keep their catch fresh for longer, a valuable tool for any fisherman returning from a long voyage.
