At its heart, Psique, la enamorada de un dios is a retelling of the famous Greek myth of the mortal princess Psyche and her love affair with the god of love, Eros. The story begins when Eros, in a case of divine irony, accidentally pricks himself with one of his own arrows and falls hopelessly in love with the beautiful young Psyche. This happens just as a dark oracle has foretold that Psyche is destined to suffer a tragic and monstrous love.
